13 Days Gorilla, Wildlife And Adventure Safari

Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport – Kampala

On your arrival, you will meet your guide who will transfer you to Kampala at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will take a scenic drive through famous Luwero triangle to Murchison Falls National Park with lunch en route or you branch off to Ziwa rhino sanctuary that gives an opportunity of viewing the rhinos at a closer range. Reach Murchison falls national park with a visit to the top of the falls for a remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through a narrow gorge.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

After a cup of tea, set off for an early morning game drive to the northern part of the park where you will spot a number of elephants, buffaloes, hunting dogs, giraffes, bushbucks, hyenas, Uganda kobs, among others. Return at your lodge for late breakfast, relax at the swimming pool as you wait for your lunch which will be followed by a tremendous boat cruise along the calm Victoria Nile and at the base of the falls for sightings of the hippos, crocodiles and over 20 unique bird species such as the goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hornbills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork

Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale

Enjoy your breakfast this morning and after wards set off for a quick drive to Kibale forest national park via the Albertan Escarpment of the western Rift valley to fort portal through beautiful country side homesteads, farms and shadows of Rwenzori mountains. Dinner and overnight stay at Ndali lodge/ chimp’s nest/ mountains of the moon.

Day 5: Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Walk

Wake up for a heavy breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about chimp tracking. This will be followed by searching these great apes which will also enable you view other primates like the colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, baboons, Bush babies and many more as your guide provides more information about them. After lunch, you will have a nature walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a number of birds and unique flora and fauna.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park in ishaha

After your breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park with a wide game view en route for 2- 3 hours like elephants, buffaloes, leopard, hyena, and leopard. Reach early enough for lunch and relax (we won’t do a boat here since you have already done one in Murchison falls) and have an evening game drive in the Ishaha sector.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth – Mountain Sabyinyo

After an early breakfast, we shall transfer further to the south western Uganda to Kisoro district with a stop in kabala town for lunch.

We shall arrive at the lodge in the evening, check in at the lodge, relax and you prepare for the next hiking day.

Day 8: Hike Mountain Sabyinyo

After breakfast, we shall drive to the park headquarters for briefing before hiking the 3,645m of Sabyinyo . It’s a one day hike and the hiking hours depend on how fast you are.

Day 9: Sabyinyo -Bwindi

We shall transfer to Bwindi impenetrable rain forest, arrive in the afternoon for lunch, relax and then have an evening walk to the Batwe community,The Batwa (known, pejoratively as “pygmies” in the west because of their height) are one of the oldest surviving tribes in Africa, but their culture, identity and language are under increasing threat. We shall visit their community as they take you through their life styles for example the traditional ways of making fire among others.

We shall there after return at the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 11: Gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi

The day is here when we shall encounter the Gorilla forest to meet and greet with the world’s most gentle primates in one of the dense tropical rainforests of the world that will reward you with once in a lifetime unending smiles and memories after setting eyes on the massive ‘Mountain Gorillas’. The trekking is never easy or hard, it’s always fun walking through the jungle and experiencing what life is like in the forest. The hike may be short or long depending on the Gorilla movements. After the trekking, we shall then drive to lake Bunyonyi . The lake is home to 29 islands with amazing histories and a lot of birdlife, so if you’re a fan birds, you will probably have the best time bird watching.

Day 12: Activities in Lake Bunyonyi

This is an adventure day with activities like Boat ride to the islands, bird watching, nature walks, quad biking and zip lining and canoeing. Please let me know so that I can organize the activities that you would love to do.

Day 13: Transfer to Entebbe international airport.

This is the last day of our Gorilla, wildlife and adventure safari, We shall transger to Entebbe international airport at 8am with a quick stop at Lake mburo national park for chances to spot animals like Zebras, Impala, Toppis and Elands.
