Gorilla Trekking 3 Days

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can be done in any of its four trekking regions including Buhoma,Ruhija,Rushaga and Nkuringo, where several gorilla families are habituated. You will spend up to an hour with the gorilla family once you reach it, a perfect opportunity for taking up close photos. This is a once in a lifetime experience to get close to one of our closest animal relatives in the wild.

The 3 Days Gorilla trekking safari in Uganda begins and ends in Kampala.

Day 1: Leave Kampala and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Stop at Uganda Equator crossing in Kayabwe for amazing photo shoots and traditional lunch stop at Igongo Cultural Centre. Proceed to Bwindi, check in at your hotel and have an evening rest and overnight stay.

Day 2: After an early breakfast you will head out with a packed lunch for your briefing and Gorilla Trek in the steep and densely forested beautiful landscape of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This activity can take anywhere from 3-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle. Once you find the troop, you will have the opportunity to sit and take photos with them at close range for up to 1 hour. Afterwards you will hike back down for some well-earned downtime, a Batwa/Bakiga Cultural Performance at the lodge, and some dinner. Overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp/Gorilla Mist Camp/Buhoma Community Camp/Gorilla Valley Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park back to Kampala
